The Kiva II is an ultra-compact WST® modular line-source system designed for long throw sound reinforcement applications with minimal visual impact. The Kiva II features two 6.5" drivers housed in a bass-relex enclosure and a 1.75" diaphragm compression driver loaded with a DOSC waveguide and L-Fins. The Kiva II delivers a remarkable SPL / format ratio thanks to the excursion and power capacity of the transducers. The amplification density is maximized with an impedance of 16 ohms. The Kiva II operates on frequencies from 70 Hz to 20 kHz. The coplanar transducer arrangement and new front K-grid generate a symmetrical horizontal directivity of 10 ° with a smooth tonal response without sidelobes over the entire frequency range. In accordance with the WST coupling criteria aimed at preserving the coherence of the wavefront, the maximum angle between elements is 15°. Internal passive filtering is achieved by proprietary filters. L-Acoustics amplified controllers ensure linearization and protection of transducers (L-Drive).
