The L-Acoustics K2 is a premium WST line array element delivering touring-grade performance in a compact 12-inch format. Its active 3-way design pairs two 12-inch low-frequency drivers with four 6.5-inch mid drivers and dual 3-inch HF compression drivers on DOSC waveguides for class-leading clarity and projection. With a wide 35 Hz–20 kHz bandwidth and up to 145 dB max SPL, K2 excels on large stages and in demanding install environments.
Coverage is highly adaptable: variable curvature with inter-box angles up to 10° delivers precise vertical control, while horizontal directivity can be set to symmetrical 70° or 110°, or asymmetrical 90° (35°/55° or 55°/35°) to suit room geometry and audience zones. Mechanically and acoustically compatible with K1 and K1-SB, K2 integrates seamlessly into large-format systems or operates as a stand-alone array. Baltic birch cabinetry, aluminium side panels and a robust 4-point captive rigging system enable fast, accurate deployment. System performance is optimised with LA4X or LA8 amplified controllers featuring L-DRIVE protection and Array Morphing EQ. Extend low end with K1-SB or SB28 when additional impact is required.
