The Philips Strand Lighting 300S is a large-format LED softlight purpose-built for TV and broadcast environments. Delivering a consistent 3100K warm white with a typical CRI of 95 and TLCI above 94, it produces natural skin tones and accurate colour rendering on camera. Its 50° beam and generous aperture create a smooth, even field, achieving 1,100 lx at 5 m and up to 24,700 lumens for punchy yet flattering illumination. The high-performance optical system combines a PMMA convex lens with a frost panel to ensure a clean, uniform output.
The 300S is fanless for silent operation in noise-critical studios. Control is flexible with local “touch and turn” adjustment, real-time intensity display, and DMX/RDM for quick integration. A colour LCD shows DMX address, intensity, CRI, CCT, response curves (LED or tungsten), and internal temperature. Robust powerCON and 5-pin DMX in/thru connections complete a dependable broadcast-ready package.
