The Mo-Sys StarTracker IP Complete System delivers precise, real-time studio camera tracking for virtual production, AR and VR. Using an infrared optical sensor and ceiling-mounted reflective stars, it provides absolute positional and rotational data, plus lens metadata, for rock-solid, drift-free results. Designed for cranes, jibs and pedestals, the system maintains accuracy across complex moves and repeatable shots. This turnkey V8 STM package includes Sensor and Processor units, lens control for 20‑pin Fujinon ENG/box lenses, and a Lilliput touchscreen for quick setup and live monitoring. Connectivity and rigging are streamlined with the supplied umbilical, HDMI and XLR power cables, while a Wi‑Fi dongle and Skaarhoj RCP panel enable flexible configuration and remote adjustments. Supplied with 250 self-adhesive stars for studios 3–6 metres high, it’s fast to install and calibrate, minimising downtime and ensuring consistent performance across productions.
