The Wharfedale Pro Reason X18B is a high-performance passive PA subwoofer built for modern touring and installation. Its newly developed 18-inch LF driver features a robust NOMEX spider and rigid aluminium basket for clean, reliable low-frequency reproduction under heavy excursion. With a 4-inch voice coil and 1000 W AES power handling (2000 W programme, 4000 W peak), it delivers serious punch and headroom, achieving a maximum SPL of 139 dB. A bass-reflex design extends response to 30 Hz (±10 dB) with a focused 35–250 Hz (±3 dB) working range, ensuring tight, musical bass that locks in with your tops.
The 18 mm plywood cabinet is finished in durable black PU and fitted with four integrated handles for practical load-ins. Dual speakON connectors simplify daisy-chaining, while prepped mounting points accept optional castors for easier transport. Compact for its class at 560 x 600 x 756 mm and 45.5 kg, the X18B partners seamlessly with Reason tops, WLA line arrays or other professional full-range cabinets. Ideal for live music, DJ reinforcement and fixed installs requiring authoritative low end.
