The Wharfedale Pro Reason X12 is a high-performance 3-way passive PA loudspeaker designed for articulate, full-range sound in demanding live and installed applications. A robust 12-inch woofer pairs with a dedicated 8-inch midrange and a 1.5-inch neodymium HF driver with a flat polyethylene diaphragm to deliver exceptional detail and vocal presence. The rotatable 100° x 70° waveguide provides flexible coverage whether the cabinet is deployed vertically or horizontally. Rated at 500 W RMS (1000 W programme, 2000 W peak) with 98 dB sensitivity and a maximum SPL of 131 dB, the X12 offers confident headroom and projection. Carefully engineered crossovers at 800 Hz and 2.7 kHz ensure a smooth, coherent response across the 55 Hz–20 kHz bandwidth. The 15 mm plywood enclosure features two integrated handles and 12 x M8 mounting points for versatile rigging, while dual speakON connectors simplify daisy-chaining.
