The Tectonic Audio Labs PL-11 BK is a passive, ultra-flat PA loudspeaker that uses a DML (Distributed Mode Loudspeaker) bending-wave panel coupled with a large ribbon tweeter to deliver remarkable clarity and detail. By radiating diffuse energy rather than a narrow beam, it achieves highly even coverage with minimal reflections from hard surfaces, significantly improving speech intelligibility across wide listening areas. With a consistent 165° x 165° dispersion, tonal balance is maintained far off-axis, creating a large sweet spot and stable stereo imaging throughout the room. The broad DML bandwidth avoids a crossover in the vocal region for phase-coherent, low-distortion performance. Exceptionally resistant to feedback, it enables confident use of open microphones even at close proximity.
