The Tectonic DML500 BK is a passive flat panel loudspeaker engineered to deliver exceptional speech intelligibility and uniform coverage in acoustically challenging rooms. A carbon composite panel, driven by four rear-mounted neodymium exciters, radiates diffuse, room-filling energy that minimises troublesome reflections from hard surfaces. This results in excellent clarity across a very wide listening area and impressive resistance to feedback, even with open microphones nearby. Built on a robust aluminium frame, the DML500 measures around 80 cm wide and just 9 cm deep, with a weight of approximately 20 kg, enabling discreet, space-efficient integration. Constant 65° x 65° dispersion is maintained across the full bandwidth to provide stable imaging and a generous sweet spot when used in pairs. With a frequency response of 85 Hz–20 kHz, phase-coherent reproduction and very low distortion, it excels where detail and uniformity are critical. Passive operation; external amplification required.
