The Solton aart SUB 15A is a compact, high-output active subwoofer designed to add tight, musical low end to portable PA systems, live bands and DJs. Its 15-inch driver with a 4-inch voice coil is powered by 800 W continuous (3,200 W peak) amplification, delivering up to 133 dB peak SPL with excellent punch and control. The frequency response is voiced for real-world performance, covering 40–200 Hz (±3 dB) with extension to 35–250 Hz (–10 dB). Onboard DSP provides a variable low-pass crossover from 80–200 Hz, a phase switch for quick alignment, and protective limiting to maintain clarity at higher levels.
Connectivity is flexible with two combo XLR/6.35 mm inputs and two XLR thru outputs for straightforward integration with tops and mixers. Built for the road, the 15 mm birch plywood cabinet balances durability with manageable handling, measuring 460 x 590 x 580 mm and weighing 31 kg.
