The JBL ASB6128 is a high-output, dual 18-inch passive subwoofer engineered for demanding live sound and fixed installation. Loaded with two JBL 2242H 460 mm transducers featuring 100 mm voice coils, it delivers deep, authoritative bass with exceptional power handling and control. With a frequency response of 35 Hz–1 kHz (±3 dB) and usable extension to 28 Hz, it provides impactful low end for large-format PA systems. In the 30–100 Hz band it achieves up to 136 dB continuous average (142 dB peak) at 1 m, ensuring room-filling performance with headroom to spare.
Flexible drive options support parallel mode at 4 ohms or discrete drive at 2 x 8 ohms for system optimisation and arraying. The rugged 11‑ply Finnish birch plywood cabinet includes 12 x M10 suspension points on the top, bottom, sides and rear, and meets Mil‑Std 810 with IP‑x3 weather resistance for extra reliability on the road or in exposed installs. Power handling is rated at 1600 W continuous (6400 W peak), with a net weight of 73 kg. Ideal for touring rigs, live venues, theatres and clubs requiring deep, controlled low-frequency reinforcement.
