HK Audio’s Contour CX15 is a high-performance passive 2-way PA loudspeaker built for demanding live sound. This B-Stock unit is supplied with warranty and may show minor cosmetic lacquer variations only. It partners a rugged 15-inch B&C neodymium woofer with a 3.5-inch voice coil and a 1.4-inch B&C compression driver on a rotatable 75° x 55° constant-directivity horn for accurate coverage and excellent intelligibility. With 700 W RMS power handling (1400 W programme, 2800 W peak), 8 Ω nominal impedance and max SPL up to 129 dB (132 dB peak), the CX15 delivers generous headroom for FOH, sidefill, frontfill or drumfill use.
The birch multiplex cabinet features a durable PU coating, anti-corrosion steel grille with acoustic foam, and flexible deployment options: ten M10 flying points, HK Audio DuoTilt pole mount (3°/7°) and integrated handles. Connectivity is via dual NL4 Speakon with switchable pin assignment, while 24 dB/oct crossover slopes ensure smooth driver integration. Frequency response spans 69 Hz–18 kHz (-6 dB), extending to 55 Hz–19 kHz (-10 dB). A dependable, musical workhorse for touring, rental and installed sound where clarity and punch are essential.
