A powerful 64-bit DSP with FIR filtering delivers precise voicing and protection, with quick-access factory presets including S-ALIGNED and cardioid modes, plus selectable low-pass filters at 80, 90 or 100 Hz for rapid system deployment. A weather-resistant colour touchscreen replaces mechanical controls for reliable, intuitive setup, and on-board delay (up to 294 ms) simplifies time alignment across larger systems. Built from multi-layer birch plywood with a rugged Polyurea coating, the S18W is road-ready while remaining lightweight and easy to handle. Connectivity includes balanced XLR input/link and PowerCON mains in/link, and the universal power supply (85–265 V, 45–65 Hz) ensures seamless use worldwide. Expect a smooth, extended response down to 33 Hz for tight, musical bass that integrates effortlessly with Amate Audio tops.
