The Linea Research 8-channel amplifier 48M6 combines 6000W total output, excellent sound properties, advanced DSP functions and network control on 2 height units. The 750W amplifier supplies at 2, 4 or 8 ohm loads per channel. Canal couples can be bridged so that up to 1500W are available at 4 or 8 ohms. The 48M6 provides 4 symmetrical XLR sockets for analog input signals. Digital audio signals are integrated via the AES3 input, which is also designed as an XLR socket. Link outputs enable looping the input signals to other amplifiers. The Dante ™ variant of the 48M6 also receives four other channels via Ethernet from a Dante ™ network. Manually and automatically switchable standby and sleep energy-saving modes, reduce the power consumption in rest phases to a minimum. A variable adjustable limitation of the input current effectively prevents the safety machine from triggering. The internal DSP adapts the incoming audio signals to the downstream speakers and the room acoustics. Mixers, equalizers, crossover, limiter, delay, gain and phase reverse are available for this. Lineas' linearphasis (not FIR) frequency croaks allow a separate even deep frequencies without phase shift with minimal latency. Fir High-Helve Filter for raising the high-sound area are particularly useful for use to line array systems. Up to 3 limit types work in parallel per output channel. They keep signal tips, membrane steering and the temperature of the vibration coil within safe limits. 12 groups allow cross -device summarizing and editing channels. All settings can be managed in presets or snaphots. All important parameters are accessible to the front panel via software as well as the intuitively designed controls. During the operation, the amplifier records the electrical and thermal conditions and the use of the various protective circuits into a non-fleeting log memory.
