Glastonbury Festival sells out in hours
Once again Glastonbury Festival tickets has sold out at a very fast pace, last year it sold out in only 30 minutes and this year in only one hour! Many fans have been left feeling frustrated at not being able to get tickets which isn't helped by reports of the website crashing.
See Tickets have admitted that the they had to ask fans to bear with them because of a technical problem. We have to say though, this is hardly surprising as only 210,000 tickets were released but over 1,000,000 fans registered to purchase tickets leading to incredibly high website traffic.
Emily Eavis the organiser posted on Twitter: "Although we are thrilled that so many of you want to come to next year's Glastonbury, we're sorry that a huge number of people missed out on a ticket this morning - because demanded far outstripped supply. Thank you for everyone who tried to buy a ticket. Your loyalty to this festival is deeply appreciated. There will be a ticket resale in spring 2023, so if you didn't get one, please do try again then”
Any festival goers that missed out this time shouldn’t feel too disheartened as there are some excellent alternative festivals happening in the UK such as Reading and Leeds, Wireless, TRNSMT, Latitude just to name a few. The festival scene is ever growing due to the huge demand and popularity, for those in the Lighting, Sound and Audio Visual industries we expect a busy year in 2023.
