Back2Basics Series - Part 1 - Stage Lighting and Fog
Last week we wrote about training and tried to give some advice for young people that are starting their career in the live events and production industry, and this has made us think about people with little or no experience (sorry industry veterans!) and how we can help them too. Part of our thought process is that we have customers from a wide variety of sectors such as audio visual custom installations, video specialists and more that may want to get involved in lighting but don't know where to begin. Well here's where you start;
LED lights: LED lights are energy-efficient, long-lasting, and versatile, making them a popular choice for stage lighting.
Moving head lights: Moving head lights provide dynamic and versatile lighting effects for stage productions.
Spotlights: Spotlights are typically used to highlight specific performers or areas on stage.
Wash lights: Wash lights are used to create a broad wash of colour across the stage.
DMX controllers: DMX controllers are used to manage and control lighting systems, providing precise control over lighting effects and intensities.
Fog machines: Fog machines are used to create atmospheric effects for stage performances.
Laser lights: Laser lights are used to create mesmerising light shows and effects for stage performances.
We hope this information is useful to some of you out there and if we can help you with anything further please feel free to get in touch.
